Joint learning masterclass for growing & using plant based medicine

Led by Nina Parker (market gardener from The Micro Farm) and Natasha Jennings (qualified herbalist & naturopath from Sage Intuition), our joint masterclass covers 2 sessions - one after the other - working through the overall principles of medicine in food, how to grow it, process it, and use it.

Each speaking from our own disciplines, this collaboration covers a wide range of material. Nina begins the course allowing course attendees to understand the principles of medicinal foods and their relationship to the soil. How to cultivate medicinally rich plants and use these in the natural web of interactive functions for people, animals and plants.

It's all about exploring the world around you, and the interconnectivity of living things, in many cases, there is medicine in your yards.

The class will head to the field to look at how herbs are gown, harvest and learn to prepare the herbs; learn the nuances of each, before learning to blend into teas.

Natasha will then lead the second session of Weed, Seed, Feed, exploring gut health through the lens of human anatomy and physiology. She will guide attendees through a clear understanding of how parasites interact with the body, the signs of imbalance, and how to approach cleansing in a safe, effective, and deeply supportive way.

Natasha will discuss key herbal medicines that strengthen digestion, support detoxification pathways, and promote overall vitality - linking these directly to the plants introduced in Session 1. She will demonstrate how to work with herbal tinctures and tea blends, explaining their practical uses and how to select the most appropriate herbs for different presentations.

Participants will also receive her Parasite Cleanse Ebook as part of the workshop, providing an additional resource for ongoing learning.

The masterclass is interactive and practical, with plenty of space for questions and group discussion. With a small, intimate group of around 20 attendees, the learning environment naturally encourages clarity, confidence, and an embodied understanding of plant-based medicine.
