Weed, Seed, Feed Masterclass | 25 October

Joint learning masterclass for growing & using plant based medicine

Led by Nina Parker (lead gardener at The Micro Farm) and Natasha Jennings (herbalist from Sage Intuition), our joint masterclass covers 2 sessions - one after the other - working through the overall principals of medicine in food, how to grow it, process it, and use it.

Each speaking from our own disciplines, this collaboration covers a wide range of material. Nina begins the course allowing course attendees to understand the principles of medicinal foods and their relationship to the soil. How to cultivate medicinally rich plants and use these in the natural web of interactive functions for people, animals and plants.

Its all about exploring the world around you, and the interconnectivity of living things, in many cases, there is medicine in your yards.

Natasha will then lead the 2nd session following herbs that have been discussed and explain their function in the body, uses and how to prepare them with context to human anatomy and biology.

Course attendees will work in a small group environment of 30 to allow organic questions that ensure understanding.

Course includes practical tasks of harvesting, soil VSA assessments, processing plants, preparation of medicines as appropriate.
